HAVE YOU BEEN LED HERE TODAY BY YOUR INTUITION IN YOUR BODY'S NATURAL ABILITY TO HEAL?
ARE YOU TIRED OF BEING DIRECTED TO BOTOX INJECTIONS AND PAIN MEDICATIONS AS SOURCES OF WELLNESS AND RELIEF?
ARE YOU READY TO WORK WITH YOUR BODY TO ACHIEVE YOUR
"TRUE HEALTH" POTENTIAL?
Having grown up in the intense world of childhood sports, my spine had been fractured, my tailbone broken, I had no cervical curve, my hips were greatly misaligned, and my rib cage was a mess. At a very young age, I had developed an eating disorder and had no idea how to lose weight except to starve myself of calories and nutrients.
Regardless, there was never a part of me that didn't believe healing was possible. I always felt a strong connection to my core being and I knew that healing would come when I decided to move forward.
"True Health," as defined in my book The Elemental Woman, is an individual pursuit. There are some illness events that will always affect a woman, but that doesn't mean she can't work toward becoming the healthiest possible version of herself.
After 22 years of living, I was not going to reset my entire physical structure in a 6-8 week window. To heal, I needed a strong foundational belief in my "Mind, Body, Spirit System" and I was going to need to become uncomfortable in order to become comfortable.
FUN FACTS ABOUT ME:
I've spent the last 20 years helping women just like you say goodbye to pain medication, injections, and unnecessary surgeries.
I specialize in myofascial release of the pelvic floor, cervical pain, TMJ issues, and shoulder dysfunction.
Working with elite cyclists, I've crossed the country on over 40,000 miles of high-endurance coast-to-coast cycling trips.
I'm a 21-year plant-based food advocate and mother to a passionate vegan child.
I'm an author, Manual (Massage) therapist, Clinical Ayurvedic practitioner, Sivananda & prenatal Yoga guide also certified in Yoga of the Heart & kids Yoga.
I became vegan, received massage and chiropractic care, studied traditional Yoga and clinical Ayurveda and I healed my physical pain and strengthened my once weak immune system.
I am fortunate to have experienced extreme physical pain because it shaped my manual therapy skills and my compassion for others. And I now know that when a woman walks through my door, she is being guided by HER intuition and HER ability to heal, and I honor HER as the most powerful force in the room.
I offer my own healing story as an example in the hopes that it creates a spark inside of you - because that spark, that decision to change, is the first step of any True Health journey.
ARE YOU READY TO RECONNECT WITH YOU?
( & my mini-me. )
Hi! I'm Tara Lee (she/her), author, manual therapist & female health activist.
A LITTLE ABOUT MY WELLNESS JOURNEY:
In my early 20's, I was in so much pain I could hardly lift myself out of bed. My entire body felt awful and nerve pain radiated throughout my neck, jaw, eye, ear, scalp, breast, and upper arm. I suffered from poor sleep, a constant feeling of fatigue, brain fog, and severe headaches. Throughout my childhood, Western medicine visits had ignored my structure and holistic health, so on my 22nd birthday, I walked myself across town and spent everything in my bank account on my first chiropractic & healing massage visit.
If I had sought traditional care, as many women I've worked with have, I would have been incorrectly diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
Trans Men & Women & Pelvic Floor Health
Self-love equals pelvic floor health. And self-love & pelvic floor health are for everyone. I am trained to work with female anatomy and because of menstruation and pregnancy, those with female anatomy assigned at birth are more likely to develop pelvic floor symptoms.
If you were born with female anatomy, please reach out for a pelvic floor intake. If you were born with male anatomy but identify with the energy of the divine feminine, I can offer you pelvic floor education, breathwork, energy work, and neck and jaw physical medicine.
And if my education and medical specialties are not right for you, please reach out and I will try to find a provider to better meet your emotional and physical needs.
